Now, when are you going to up-date the site to include photos of the new "young 'un?" Glenn Mahnke Marengo, Illinois 1984 GL1200I ["Red Rider"]

CommentsHi, My wife found your web site while looking for a picture of the "95" SE that we just purchased. We are in Ohio & the Wing is in Florida. The 'old' owner tried to email pictures but failed so we didn't know what the color (we knew it was dark green) would look like. We enjoyed your site, the pictures are great & CONGRADULATIONS on you cat dilemma. We are hoping that our bike is as beautiful as your Wing. We will be picking it up in Florida on the 29th of this month. Dick & Linda Byrd rbyrd5@neo.rr.com GWRRA #141241
CommentsMasa, I have just taken a trip through Mexico and Japan on a GW, through your website. thanks. I have read your posts on WOTI for some time and always enjoy them. I am without a scooter right now, but hope to be back on two wheels before too long. I am fortunate to have a couple of friends who let me use their wings to scratch my itch now and then. I love your website. Well done. Don Thornton, Fairfield, TX Rubber side down
CommentsHi Masa! After over a year of "challenging occurances" I am finally back on line and have email that actually works both ways. hehehe. :-D Hope all is well with you and Amy. My bike is still waiting to be rebuilt, after Many, Many, economic setbacks, but I won't sell it now, or give up hope. I'm glad to see your web page is up and running and I think you did a great job on it. Hope to see you again soon. If you're ever in New Mexico, stop by Albuquerque and give me a call. (505)-350-3089. Your friend, Gorden

CommentsRon Semrau, Seattle, Wa. 1988 Gray GL1500 Nice site. I have dropped my Wing about five times. I usually hurt my back picking it up because I never had help. Someone said that when it is on its side, turn your back to the bike, get ahold of the bike and put your rear end against the seat and began pushing and lifting. Have the bike in gear, of course! I don't ride much, the bike has just 28000 miles on it. The last time I dropped it was on a gravel road while I was going down a slight grade. That was the worst time because it was in neutral and the engine was running. It fell on the left side so I couldn't put it in gear. This was in backroad forest country, I was fortunate to be able to get it up by myself. I have ridden on backcountry gravel roads and mountain areas many times. Maybe I am pushing my luck! But I like the Wing for traveling because I can carry all my camping gear. A side story: My wife used to fall asleep on the back of the Wing(while we were on the road). I was in Ashiya, Japan from 1957-1959 while in the USAF. I rode my first bike there, about a 250cc streetbike; I don't remember the make. Our sargent had a 500cc triumph and we thought he was God!!!
CommentsHi Masa, I read your post the WOTI today, I see you and Pappy had a nice ride to Crawford, TX and backs. Well hopefully my brother-in-law and I can ride to Texas (San Antonio / Helotes area), that’s where his mom lives. We tried this year to make the Alamo Run but I broke my left hand and was unable to ride for three months, there always next year. Ride Safe. Felix Gonzales Sacramento, Ca. 99 GL 1500 Silver SE

CommentsEnjoyed reading and seeing the pictures. Brings back memories as I worked for an american at Atsugi naval station and at Yokota Air Base, from 1967-1970. I lived in Tachikawa for a couple of those years, in fact my first wife was Japanese, but that's another story. Worked 6 day weeks so did'nt travel as much as I should have. Got to MT Fuji a couple times and My brother who was in the Air Force in the Philippines , came up on leave and was able to take a week off and toured Tokyo with him and managed to see something. Seems so long ago, and it was ! Doug Hasert Minneapolis, MN. 1981 Interstate with Watsonian monaco sidecar.

CommentsHi Masa and Amy........I just wanted to say hi. You have a beautiful Goldwing . I might possibly be just a little biased as I own a 96 green Aspencade. Should your travels ever lead you to Minnesota, email me and we could possibly meet somewhere. At least then there would be two beautiful green Goldwings in Minnesota. All for now.....Have a safe trip to Wing Ding......Darrell Jesseman

CommentsThat cat story is very amusing, Masa. ;") You have a very enjoyable site and I especially like the ability to click on the photos to get the full screen versions. Thanks for taking the trouble to do this so well. I hope to be able to meet you someday if I can ever get out to the Alamo Run. I was in Japan (Yokohama, 1 hour from Tokyo)) last November. I wish I'd have known about the onsen! I would also have enjoyed renting a motorcycle for a half-day ride somewhere with some local rider(s). I suppose there may be a next time. "Road Ranger" (Mrs. Cotton's little boy, Lenny. ;") Ottawa, Canada

CommentsMasa, This is one of the most enjoyable web sites I've visited in a long time. I really liked the cat story, the tips for riding in Mexico, and the idea of stopping at a co-ed onsen! I was also wondering whatever happened to Masa #2. I see he is still around. Joe Henderson, Raytown, MO
CommentsI enjoyed your web site. I have a 2000 Black Wing that I really love. It's all I need now is some decent weather. We got about 3 inches of snow last night. Really irritating. We're located on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada mountains, about a twenty minute ride from Lake Tahoe. When the summer finally comes, there is some awesome riding around here.
